INNOVATIVE MATERIALS, ADVANCED RESEARCH AND DESIGN FOR THE TRANSPORT INDUSTRY
Alumotive is at the Modena Exhibition Centre from October 18 to 20, 2007

This is the third edition of the international exhibition of innovative solutions, sub-contracting, aluminium components and technological materials for the transport industry: from October 18 to 20, the Modena Exhibition Centre features Alumotive, the most important event for businesses, operators and experts of the mobility sector.

Workshops specialized in precision mechanics, welding, assembly and surface finishing, design studios and contract traditional and rapid prototyping studios, universities, technological innovation and vocational training centres, applied research centres and centres for the development of new processes and products, metallurgical testing laboratories, certification bodies, companies specialized in industrial screen-printing, applied hardware and software, technical and specialized publishers are all participating in this event.

By displaying a wide range of components and innovative solutions for all means of transport (cars, motor-bikes, ships, airplanes, special vehicles and agricultural machines, bicycles and competition vehicles), Alumotive reasserts its role as a key show-case for the entire industry sector and an outstanding promoter of innovation and technological progress. Specially efficient is the exhibitory organization chosen for the event which has enriched the show with numerous valuable conference insights and special events with a broad media coverage. In a joint collaboration with research bodies, leading companies and international universities, Alumotive 2007 has arranged a rich calendar of technical workshops tackling key issues for the sector and delivering technical and professional updating to engineers, designers, sales managers, technical directors, automotive, quality system and car designers.

Three key special events shall provide an insight into the automotive design of the future (Aludesign), car body repair techniques (CARBODYTech) and innovative materials.

Alumotive 2005 was visited by 10.684 professional operators and featured 634 exhibitors. As many as 28 technical sessions offered 200 technical and scientific reviews. It was sponsored by three Ministries (Productive activities; Infrastructure and Transport; Innovation and Technologies) and by 32 organizations and leading companies.
